Why have you chosen to write about today?
Why not?

Good morning!

What time did you wake up?
6am – I’m an early bird!

Why did you wake up at that time?
I was going to the gym.

Did you have a dream?
No, quiet night last night!

Do you think today will be 'good' or 'bad' day? (use your own definition of these words to answer the question)
I always hope every day will have something good in it 😊

What are the first three things you do after waking up?
Check on my son, clean my teeth, try to find the car keys.

Do you eat breakfast? If yes, what did you have?
Yes! Yogurt, honey and fresh strawberries. Yum.

What would be your perfect breakfast?
My perfect breakfast would be freshly squeezed orange juice, really good black coffee, poached eggs and bacon, granary toast with lots of butter and a view of the sea somewhere hot. And maybe some Stornoway black-pudding for good measure.

Is there anything that you have to do today but don't particularly want to?
Be indoors all day. I like fresh air.

List five things that you do between 9am and noon.
1. Drink water
2. Sort out emails
3. Work through the diary for the day
4. Have a snack
5. Facebook normally gets a sneaky peak too….

Did you eat lunch? If yes, what did you eat?
Yes! Today’s is a home-made salad.

What would be your perfect lunch?
A perfect lunch would be long, involve some wine and friends. Probably tapas or something everyone can share. There’d be lots of laughing.

List five things that you have done, said, thought, or that have happened between noon and 5pm.
1. We’ve got a resident woodpecker who feeds at our bird table – he popped over for some lunch. That always makes me smile – the other birds give him a wide berth!
2. Said: “No you cannot have another fidget spinner….” To my son, many times.
3. Thought: I’m hungry….
4. Heard: “I’m STARVING” about 10 times from my son….
5. Heard: “There’s this thing called a fidget cube now…..” again, from my son. Again, multiple times.

Do you eat dinner/tea? If yes, at what time?
Yes, about 7pm.

What do you eat?
Cod, chorizo and some roasted veg.

What would be your perfect dinner?
Steak. Simple tastes, me.

What do you do with your evening (5-8pm)?
Made dinner, read, watched Masterchef (which made me hungry) Hmm, there seems to be a theme here…..

Goodnight!

Do you have a 'get-ready-for-bed' routine? If so, what is it?
Not really.

What time do you go to sleep?
Usually about 10pm.

Is this when you want to go to bed? Or is it influenced by what you're doing the following day?
I’d always rather go to bed early as I’m usually up early.

Do you share your bed?
Yes.

Which position do you tend to sleep in? e.g. foetus, starfish etc.
On my side.

Reflection

What was your favourite part of your day?
Having a chat and cuddle with my son before he goes to bed. Always the favourite part of every day.

What was your least favourite?
Nothing stands out as “bad”. Powerpoint tried to break me I guess.

Did anything happen today that you'd like to change or re-do?
I could have worked harder at the gym!
