The Emergence 'Involvement in Action' Event

So today I attended an event with Emergence in Sheffield.
I really enjoyed myself! We listened to a few talks first about Emergence and Creative Personalities who had some people recite a poem and do a puppet show.
After a break, we were able to choose from a range of workshops to attend. I picked the KUF one which was an introduction to the Knowledge and Understanding Framework in training about personality disorders. They gave us a bit of background to KUF and how it came about thanks to a report from the Department of Health and in the six years it's been running, over 40,000 people have been trained. The Emergence staff were telling us they have lots of vacancies for trainers and how to qualify for this so at the end of the session I registered my interest to become a KUF trainer.
We had a lunch break and I paid a visit to the table I'd set up with YDM info packs, presentations and business cards. I'd had 20 info packs made up and by the end of the event I had 5 left and lots of names on our mailing list! It was so strange though to see people walking around the event with the logo Emma and I created! Surreal.
After lunch, I chose the diagnosis debate which you can read all about here.
Here's some photos from the day:
