To
finally conclude the series ’12 DAYS OF CHRISTMAS WITH I’M NOT DISORDERED;’
I'd like to thank everyone who took part and opened up (in some cases) their personal lives for the enjoyment of others. Now, grab a glass of Bailey's & put on your new PJs; here’s a quick run-down of all eleven (I wrote the first one!) pieces and my
favourite answers from each
Favourite
question & answer:
Are you good at wrapping
presents?
Excellent,
my perfectionist disorder is highlighted in wrapping presents!
This year, do you think you’d be
on the naughty or nice list?
I think
that’s for other folk to say, not me! (What do you think, Aimee?)
Favourite
question & answer:
When do you start to get excited
for Christmas Day?
Normally
on Christmas Eve, but coming from a family with German heritage we celebrate St
Nicklaus Day on the 6th December with a tradition that sees the
children place one of their boots outside the door, if they have been good they
get sweets, if not they have a few weeks to behave before Santa arrives!
Favourite
question & answer:
Do you still have an advent
calendar? If yes, which do you have and if no, when did you stop having them?
I
normally have a Cadbury’s advent calendar – this year I’ve been very spoilt and
have a Clarins one – which has lots of different beauty products each day
Favourite
question & answer:
What time do you usually get up
on Christmas morning? Is this different from when you were little?
8am. As
a child it was more like 4:30am!
Favourite
question & answer:
What are your favourite
Christmas movies?
Die
Hard. I’ll admit to laughing way too much at Elf, but it’s got to be Die Hard.
As a teenager it would have been Gremlins!
Favourite
question & answer:
Where would be your dream place
to spend Christmas?
I’d
actually quite like to experience Christmas in Australia. I love the warm
weather, so I think it’d be interesting to have a summer Christmas.
Favourite
question & answer:
Have you asked for anything this
year? If yes, what?
I’m
doing the Great North Run in aid of the Great North Children’s Hospital next
year – so I’m after some new trainers!
Favourite
question & answer:
This year, do you think you’d be
on the naughty or nice list?
No
comment until my solicitor arrives!
Favourite
question & answer:
What has been your favourite
Christmas present?
You
know, I’m really not sure. Which is quite weird. One of my best bestfriend’s is
about to give birth (she’s a couple of days overdue) so I reckon her baby
daughter (and my sort-of-Niece) will be the best Christmas present I’ll ever
get.
Favourite question & answer:
Do you have any funny Christmas
stories/memories?
First
Christmas at Aimee’s she had a blocked kitchen sink on Christmas Eve. We
checked it on Christmas morning and it had unblocked itself. I said it was a ‘Christmas
miracle!’
